There is still time to register for the upcoming PRISTINE VET Webinar, which will take place online on 19 May 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.
The webinar will present the PRISTINE VET project, its main objectives, planned activities and expected contribution to the modernisation of vocational education and training in the renewable energy sector. The event will provide participants with a clear overview of how the project will support skills development, training innovation and stronger cooperation between VET providers, project partners and relevant stakeholders.
A central part of the webinar will be dedicated to the presentation of the project’s key thematic areas. Participants will be introduced to activities focused on promoting the participation of women in energy training, developing renewable energy training content, establishing a certification framework, strengthening the capacities of VET providers, and supporting communication, dissemination and exploitation of project results. These topics reflect the project’s broader ambition to make renewable energy education more inclusive, practical and aligned with labour-market needs.
The webinar will also include a general project presentation, providing an overview of PRISTINE VET’s background, partnership, work plan and expected outputs. This will help participants better understand how individual work packages contribute to the project’s overall mission and how the results will support renewable energy skills development in target countries.
The event will open with greetings from Green Sustainable Solutions and project officer from EACEA, followed by the project introduction and a structured presentation of the main work packages. The detailed agenda will be provided as an attachment to the news item and includes sessions led by project partners responsible for specific thematic components of PRISTINE VET.
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions, exchange views and discuss the role of vocational education in supporting Africa’s clean energy transition.
