Green Sustainable Solutions, as coordinator of the Erasmus+ PRISTINE VET project, successfully led the projectβs first major dissemination webinar on 19 May 2026. The online event brought together partners from six countries to present key achievements and future plans for modernising vocational education and training in renewable energy across West Africa.
Green Sustainable Solutions provided an overview of the 24-month initiative targeting Ghana, Burkina Faso and Mauritania. Core objectives include training and certifying at least 500 individuals in solar, wind, biomass and hydrogen technologies, raising womenβs participation in green VET to 40%, establishing 45 industry-academia partnerships, and developing 12 competency-based training modules aligned with national strategies and the PANER framework.
Partners actively presented their respective work packages, underscoring the consortiumβs collaborative approach:
Nowocert (Ireland) presented curriculum development, digital learning materials and localisation efforts (WP3).
Istanbul Technical University (Turkey) shared progress on the certification framework for wind and solar energy qualifications (WP4).
USTED (Ghana) outlined capacity building, work-based learning models and VET infrastructure upgrades (WP5).
Green Sustainable Solutions (Croatia) covered gender inclusion strategies (WP2) and communication, dissemination & exploitation plans (WP6).
The webinar concluded with a constructive Q&A session focused on industry partnerships and upcoming activities.
