In September 2025, the European Commission selected 73 new international cooperation projects in vocational education and training (VET) under Erasmus+, allocating over €27 million. These initiatives strongly emphasize green skills, renewable energy technologies, sustainable practices, and eco-entrepreneurship, with many involving partnerships in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Projects focus on demand-driven training, including renewable energy curricula, sustainable agriculture, and green sector development — supporting the creation of industry-ready workforces for the clean energy transition. This aligns closely with PRISTINE VET’s goals: modernizing VET curricula (Objective 4), strengthening industry-academia links (Objective 2), and building skilled professionals in renewables across Ghana, Mauritania, and Burkina Faso.
The selection highlights Europe’s ongoing commitment to inclusive, sustainable VET in Africa — exactly what our project delivers through collaborative training, workshops, and women’s empowerment in green energy.
